I was talking to some clients last week about a knockdown rebuild in the Moonee Ponds area and I was amazed with the experience they had with a major Melbourne builder. Mr and Mrs A contacted a major Melbourne home builder and explained the home they were interested in. All was progressing nicely, until Mrs A explained there was a fall of 2 metres over the home site. Then everything changed rapidly with this particular builder there were no return emails or phone calls over the following weeks. Mr and Mrs A gave up trying to contact this major Melbourne home builder after 4 weeks and were very disappointed with the lack of communication shown to them.

I feel there is a genuine lack of respect within some of the larger home builders with regards to communications. Fortunately, Mr and Mrs A have since contacted Berstan Homes and are experiencing a more professional approach to communication.
