We are currently doing several knock down new builds in the Manningham city council area. With the cost of land with an old home around $600-$700k and the new homes around $850k, it makes financial sense to knock down rebuild.
Most of our enquiry is for dual occupancy dwelling or two stand alone homes. With construction at around $800k for the two that equates to a gross profit of $200k. Some choose to build two homes, sell one and live in the other and the investor clients we have are selling both homes and are very pleased with the results.
